Mayor Tory supports STOP and the MDCA

As a result of the STOP's and the Mount Dennis Community Association's (MDCA) deputations Executive Committee of City Council on June 8, 2022, Mayor John Tory and Executive Committee passed a motion that "reaffirms its request through the Executive Director, Transit Expansion Office in Motion MM43.34 that Metrolinx report back to City Council on their assessment of running the elevated segment of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension underground, including any options that may exist to accommodate this change."
